- Tickets can be purchased at the station or in the tram using Girocard (EC-Karte/Maestro-Karte), credit card (VISA and MasterCard) or cash. Digital tickets abailable on Apps FAIRTIQ, MOOVME.
- Business hours
- Most public offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 11:30 am. Shops are open mainly from 10 am to 8 pm. Grocery stores are open mostly from 8 am until 8 pm. Shops are within a max. 10 minute walk from the suggested hotels.
- Telephone and internet access
- Wireless connection is free at the venue, in all hotels, in many restaurants, cafés and shopping centers. Pre-paid cards for cell phones and wireless internet are available for purchase at small shops, big stores, and phone operators’ stores.
- Water supply
- The tap water in Halle is perfectly drinkable and tastes good.

- Halle lies in a temperate climate zone. It is common for the temperature to be about 30°C (86°F) in the summer and -5°C (19°F) in the winter. In October medium temperature is 10° C with possible rain.
